Doug joined the world of San Francisco real estate twenty years ago. He hit the pavement running, with an intuitive work ethic that seamlessly paralleled that of a thriving real estate agent. His expertise quickly accumulated, and without skipping a beat, he began successfully navigating clients through all types of buying and selling transactions, from single-family homes and condominiums to investment properties, TICs, and multi-unit buildings. His long term affiliation with Corcoran Global Living (formally Zephyr Real Estate,) grants him access to the industry's most coveted and cutting edge real estate tools, marketing, and resources.

Born and raised in a small northern Minnesota town, Doug Carpenter has been a San Francisco resident of Lower Pacific Heights for almost three decades. Captivated by its magic, beauty, and kind weather Doug knew immediately upon his first visit many years ago that San Francisco was his destiny and forever home. Today, along with his intimate knowledge of each distinct neighborhood and a complete understanding of the San Francisco real estate market, Doug shares the special spirit of San Francisco with his clients, family, and friends.

Doug's genuine love for San Francisco guides his adventures and fuels his interest in collecting memorabilia from San Francisco's 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition. This World's Fair celebrated not only the completion of the Panama Canal but also was an opportunity to showcase to the world that San Francisco had risen from the ashes of the 1906 earthquake and fire. During his downtime, you can find him relaxing at home with Bendi, his Maltipoo rescue from Muttville Senior Dog Rescue, or he'll be out exploring and learning about the ways San Francisco is growing and changing.
